* Is a SIM card inserted into the phone?
* Check to see that the antenna is fully attached, fully extended and vertical, and that the phone is outside with a clear line-of-site to the sky.
* Turn the phone off and then on again and wait for the phone to register.
* If the phone will not register, attempt to
force registration of the phone on the Iridium network by doing the following:
1. Press the menu button on the right side of the phone keypad.
2. Press the down arrow four times to get to Network Selection and then press the OK button.
3. Press the OK button again when "Register" shows on your screen. Now the phone should attempt to register on the network.jesse wrote:Then I have 2 more iridium which seem to have had their SIM cards removed and the last one will not power on even though I fully charged the battery and ensured the battery was good on one of the other phones that I have.
This phone most likely need to be checked and repaired by certified Iridium technician.
