ADESUS-CAM is a not for profit organisation based in Cameroon and working
on natural resource conservation. We have identified that satellite mobile telephones
can be used by the indigenous people (the Baka Pygmies) to track down illegal timber
exploitation thus contributing to forest conservation and hence fighting against
global climate change from a local perspective.
